I haven’t bought this mask from Amazon, only from the local huge-box type home improvement stores (and paid way more BTW).

But its the same mask, and the straps do break. I bought a two-pack the other day and after only a few uses the straps on both masks had already broken. The ones I had bought before were the same. I don’t know if its a heat issue, as I live in Florida and this is in summertime.

If it weren’t for that problem it would be a excellent mask. Why can’t a major company like 3M come up with straps that don’t break?

I bought these masks because they are advertised as flu masks and antisepsis masks, when the box clearly states it is only recommended for sanding, grinding, sawing, sweeping and insulating. The seller has labeled all its masks as flu masks, putting consumers at risk! TCP Global says this is a flu mask because it is N95. This only means it filters small particles, but they don’t tell you the mask is for industrial use and not for health purposes. Even the mask has a printed sign on it stating that misuse may result in sickness or death. The FDA has not approved 3M Respirator #8210 (this one) to be used by the general public in case of a health emergency!!

Bought these when advertised as “flu mask”. When they arrived, found out that they will NOT stop flu virus. These are for sanding, etc. Huge Rip Off! Don’t waste your money!

I love love this product so much! I live in the big city and there is many disaeses and filthy everywhere on everyone even, the clean looking people! There is alot of risks being close to dirty people, especially the visitors! This is how we can get sick here in the USA because other countries dont have the good healthcare.

But This mask his kept me, safe and sound and protectd and now I DONT HAVE SWINE FLUE! I can go freely to everywhere even to the pool or the parking lot of the Home Depot!

Fantastic for filtering dust. As a bonus, I have also never contracted SARS nor Swine Flu while wearing this mask. I reckon one of the largest attractions which nobody has mentioned, but, is that while wearing one of these masks I have also NEVER BEEN ATTACKED BY A LION NOR HAD A WEIRDER RUSH UP AND POUR MUSTARD ON MY HEAD! I swear it is right. Why 3M doesn’t market those two additional benefits on the box is beyond me. Probably the bureaucratic STOUT CATS in Washington behind it. Stupid Obama. Probably not even a US citizen.

I reckon it is an unintended plus that when I wear this mask everyone knows how serious I am about keeping their dirty, proletariat germs away from me. In what is surely a rare show of respect, when I walk down the street in my N95 Respirator most everyone seems to veer out of my way and avoid contact. Oftentimes this includes refusing to meet my stare. Why eye contact would transmit germs eludes me for the moment, though as soon as someone who identifies themselves as a doctor answers my online query I will certainly update my post.
